I was born and raised in Montana and journeyed out west to Washington to earn a B.A. in Classical Civilization/Languages. Post-graduation, I've returned to my artistic roots, which have been so heavily influenced by Montana and fostered by my family and friends.
My grandmother, a tole painter, was a major influence upon me and helped me to develop my painting from a young age. I have virtually no formal training in art, besides one or two art classes here or there. I started out painting in acrylics and am transitioning more and more to oils. I have lots to learn and am excited to develop my painting skills and style.
