Celebrated Montana artist Trudy Evenson has an eclectic style that sets her apart from others in her field. Her artwork possesses rare and unique 'photorealistic' qualities, with intense details that make her paintings come to life. Inspired by western landscapes and native wildlife, Trudy masterfully creates with multiple media including oils, acrylics, pastels, pencil, chalk, and watercolors. She studied traditional and modern art techniques, apprenticing with respected mentor and world-renowned wildlife artist Dave Samuelson. Her paintings sell across the globe to various collectors. Notable works include: "Bonded", which hangs in the gallery at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Headquarters; "Strength of the Grizzly -- The Wisdom of Time", commissioned in 2000 by the University of Montana, where it presently hangs in the President's office; and "Cocky", which was recently featured on the cover of the 2002-2003 issue of the Utah Upland Game magazine and has quickly become one of her most popular pieces. Trudy was born and raised in Montana where she currently runs the Wild Horse Hideaway Bed and Breakfast (email: contactus@wildhorsehideaway.com) with her husband, Dale, on beautiful Flathead Lake. Friends fondly describe her as a compassionate human being who possesses an eye for beauty and a great love of nature. Critics and fans alike believe Trudy's remarkable paintings are destined to become valuable collector's items for any serious western art lover.
