As an artist; I work in a variety of mediums, including: oils, pastels,and watercolors. In my work as an art therapist I work in a variety of mixed media. In my counseling practice I specialize in working with women’s issues, adolescents and adults who are going through difficult times in their lives-divorce, job loss, depression, anxiety, maybe the loss of a family member. What I love about the work I do is that although I initially see people at a low point in their lives, as we work together they find the courage, skills and resilience to keep going and create a life worth living. As an Art Therapist, I am able to support clients as they rediscover forgotten aspirations, take a stand for the person they wish to be, and live a bolder and more creative life.
