I am both intrigued and challenged by the variety of expressions as well as the endless combination of features that make each person’s face unique. My stoneware sculptures are characterizations that celebrate this fascinating and diverse array of humanity. They are representative of ordinary people, both past and present. They reflect a moment in time and stand as reminders of the human condition.
