My parents Kevin and Denise, are both artistic, Art came natural to me. Throughout my childhood I lived in many locations of Southwestern Montana. Most of which, in Anaconda, where I graduated high school. From there, I attended college at Montana State University to study Architecture. Although, I never received a degree, I feel that I am well educated in Art and Architecture, both of which are very important to me. I will continue to pursue my dreams of success in both careers. My Art philosophy is Truth, however simple or complex the Truth. I capture my personal and social thoughts of Truth through my artwork. Most of my Art is scenes of Montana with abstract concepts. I feel that Art is not so much how one expresses, but rather what is expressed. I paint with sticks, toothpicks, cardboard, etc… I use these tools mostly because I hate cleaning oil paints out of brushes. More importantly, the objects are a means of capturing the texture of the subject matter. Texture is very important to my artwork, and that is why I paint with Oils in a sculpting manner.
