Fifth generation Montanan born in Butte, raised in Southwestern Montana, comes from a pioneer background with a strong mining influence. He attended college at Montana State University and Western Montana College with a degree in Art. He taught in public schools and colleges in Montana and Nevada. Kevin's paintings and drawings capture the memories of his Montana upbringing. His work has been featured in many one-man exhibits including a show at the Montana Historical Society and the Northeastern Nevada Museum. He has been in numerous shows throughout the West as well as participating in the C.M. Russell Art Show and the Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada. He participated in the Buffalo Roams 2007 in West Yellowstone. Juried in the International Railway Expo, Carson City, Nevada. Presently working on Ghost Towns of the West Traveling Exhibit. His work has been in many publications, juried shows and private collections. He has done the Bannack Days Poster three years in a row which he presented to the governor of Montana. Kevin was the Artist In Residence at The Old Montana Territorial Prison Museum Art Center in Deer Lodge. Home studio at Gallatin Gateway, Montana. His work is represented at The Madison Crossing in West Yellowstone, The Gallery in Deer Lodge, and Art Encounter, Las Vegas, Nevada.
