The Creation has always called in a loud voice to the Soul of Ken W. Hall. With diligence of purpose and intent his footsteps have always led one to the next in a trek into the mystery of it all.

Whether in his work in the Museum field, his work as an artist or through his music with the Native American style cedar flute, Ken has tuned his senses to follow a divine unseen path into moments that challenge people to search deep within themselves for their own path into the mystery.

Ken is a native Texan, born to parents of farming families. The land and the natural laws have always been prominent in his life. In the late 1800's his paternal grandfather traveled as a young boy by covered wagon from Georgia to the cotton fields of east Texas bringing with him the genes of Cherokee heritage.

Hall has always chosen creative work that would challenge his soul to walk another mile on his journey to find the truth of his place in this life. He grew up in the corridors of the Museum of Science and History in Ft. Worth, Texas. Later, he shifted from his career as a professional model builder when invited to join the staff of the Exhibits Department of the Museum. It was here that he allowed an incubated interest in photography to emerge when he began teaching black and white darkroom techniques in the Museum School.

After a successful career of creating and selling photographs, both black and white and color, Ken and his wife Penny settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was here in the fall of 1994 that he was at that time the only artist to have been juried into both the Santa Fe Society of Artists and the Santa Fe League of Artists by unanimous vote on the same day.

On Labor Day 2000 along with his wife Penny he arrived in the Madison Valley, Montana. At that time the plan called for a two months stay in the valley. That scheduled time has evolved through nine years and a portfolio of photographic images that is scheduled for book publication sometime in 2010.
