She moved to Moscow, Idaho in 1993 where she eventually earned a BFA degree in Studio Art, with an emphasis in Photography. Shortly after graduating she moved to Missoula where she began graduate school at The University of Montana. She earned an MFA degree in Photography, with an emphasis in Mixed Media in 2003.
