The ceramic pieces are then fired in our wood kiln; creating interesting effects from the ash and glazes intertwining; or simply the ash on the surface clay. When the ash melts in the heat of the kiln, the potassium and sodium form glass; a beautiful alchemical creation. Lets just say we love what we do.
