Before transitioning into blacksmith and forge work I spent years machining metal and wood. From there I went into welding by forging metal I face a whole new set of challenges. This technique forces me to be more creative. With each piece of metal
I work I find the old methods cannot be improved upon. Seeking, hammering and shaping the metal into natural forms I developed a theme for a series of pieces.
