Thank you for visiting my site and taking interest in my artwork. I am currently 20 years old and attending Montana State University as a sophmore pursuing degrees in Art Education, Studio Art and Art History. I grew up in Kalispell, Montana and attended Flathead High School. I participated in a 2-year International Art Program. In this I was able to explore my creative talent in painting and develop several techniques and approaches to my paintings. I typically incorporate impressionism into my paintings. I focus on believability in my artwork while bringing out the variety of subtle colors in a subject.
Oil is my medium of choice and I focus on landscapes and wildlife. As my paintings evolves, I have found a passion for western subjects and historical moments.
Artist that inspire my work are Joe Abbrescia, Charles M Russell, Mark Ogle, Brent Cotton and Todd Connor. Over the past year I have had the privalege to work with Mark Ogle and I am now currently working privately with Todd Connor.
Montana is the perfect place for me to be right now. I am surrounded by breath-taking landscapes and a rich history that captivates my interest. I am most often found hiking high in the mountains or valley meadows painting and camping or fly fishing Montana's best rivers.
