Jacqueline Hope Brazil grew up traveling around the United States with her family and now lives in Victor, Montana, where she works with middle school children and uses art to provide therapeutic interventions. After many years working in oils, Jacqueline is expanding her experience to include works in collage, contemporary stained glass, and mixed media. Her art reflects a sense of reverence for the human form and for nature. All of her works are inspired to some degree by her Catholic faith.
Jacqueline’s works have appeared in venues around Montana including MSU-Northern, the Children’s Museum of Montana, and the Thompson Falls Cultural Arts Council’s annual benefit exhibition. She has presented solo shows at the University of Montana in Missoula and the Myrna Loy Theater in Helena.
In her years of art studies Jacqueline has been recognized for her work, including presentations at the Governors Art Awards for Excellence in Visual Arts and Literature.
In addition to her work in the visual arts, Jacqueline is a teacher. She is also a musician specializing in Celtic folk music, and a free-lance writer. She is a member of the National Art Educators Association, the Sanders County Arts Council, and the Oil Painters of America.
