Born and raised in Livingston I inherited the artistic talent from my mother.I was raised on a farm so always had animal subjects to sketch, with horses being my preferred choice. Living now at the foot of Sphinx mountain in Cameron, I have the opportunity to draw deer, elk, bear and sometimes wolves. With my husband being manager of a cattle ranch I also get hands on with the cattle from calving, doctoring, branding to moving them from the ranch to higher pastures in the mountains. And with the help of local cowboys and their partners{horses and dogs}I also get great subject material.I can not think of any greater place for my art work to materialize than here in Montana.
