    Stained Glass Art

I have been an artist for as long as I remember. I was fortunate enough to have art classes just about every day growing up, and all sorts of art supplies were made available to me over the years. By the time I got to college, I was designing tee shirts for events at Indiana University. I studied Psychology and Art History and continued to create my own art.

Later, I moved to Kentucky, where I started a small business creating custom appliqué tee shirts with designs much like those you see in my stained glass work today. I decided to earn my Master’s Degree in Business. It was during those years that I learned about web development and marketing. In 1999, I decided to use my degrees together with my art skills to build a web development company, Connectech.net.

I have enjoyed working with digital images and layouts. All the while, I have continued to learn about new ways to create art, such as spinning wool from my own sheep and learning more about quilting. I was intrigued by the stained glass quilt designs, and decided I would learn about stained glass. I picked it up quickly, and find that all of my previous experience contributes to my new designs.

Montana's treasures are the inspiration for many of my stained glass panels. I love the wildlife, people and scenery here. Although there is a great deal of variety in the subjects of my work, most are very realistic in interpretation. Glass has become my favorite because of the way glass plays with the light. You will find wild animals of the west, cowboys and cowgirls, horses, other animals and more in my work. I hope you enjoy viewing it, and hope to hear from you.
