Bonita Rogers was born and raised on a farm in MN. She has lived in Montana with her artist husband Jim for over 27 years. Together, they have raised 4 sons and enjoy many grandkids.
Bonita has helped Jim in his work for almost 30 years, but only recently began to carve professionally herself.
Over the years, Jim has taught her most all of the fine points of carving with a chainsaw. "The rest,she says, is osmosis." She claims to have no natural artistic ability when it comes to drawing or sculpting. Most of her work is on a small scale, compared to Jim's. Bear cubs, owls, penguins, house cats, etc. Keep checking back for more photos, as she's just getting started
