My name is Beth Norton and I am a mosaic artist living in Bozeman, Montana - a small town located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. This location provides the perfect inspiration for my art. From my backyard I have a wonderful view of one of the local mountain ranges and I only have to drive a few minutes to be in the wilderness. Being surrounded by the beauty of nature inspires me to try to capture the outdoors in my artwork.
Although mosaics are an ancient art form, they will never get "old" for me. Each piece is so varied whether it be because of the shape of the object, the materials used to create it, or considerations for the environment in which the finished piece will reside. This keeps the art new and creates tremendous opportunities for me to learn and grow as a mosaic artist. I enjoy challenging myself with new materials and different design perspectives.
