I discovered the Ennis area as a result of an endurance ride (horse race) held of the West Fork of the Madison River. After having traveled the country and seen all the sights I just fell in love with this valley. I came back every year after that from Pa until I finally moved here in 1995. I have been oil painting off and on for years , with no formal training. Within the last two years I discovered scratch art and was so impressed with the detail possible with that medium that I gave it a try. While you can reproduce anything you can imagine it seems to be especially suited for wildlife and pet portraits. These are my areas of interest so it was love at first try. While I still work in oils my main work lately seems to be scratch art.
