I have always used what I like to call my inner guide when I pick up a brush and put it to canvas. I never know ahead of time what the end result will be, and for me, that is what expression is all about. For me, Art is the True Escape. I paint landscapes, each one reflects an Escape. I find it interesting to know that these landscapes, or mindscapes if you will, are not true places I have seen first hand but come to life as I see them in my mind, or in myself.
